Someone once told me that the world has an energy shortage, but not the kind that powers our machines. There is so much negative energy bombarding us every day in the media, the internet and in real life, that we are becoming more and more anxious and worn-down as a society.  I started MettaKnots as a way to put a little love in the world by creating something colorful and beautiful. Metta is an ancient practice of loving-kindness meditation. Loving-kindness is a wholehearted and genuine desire for the well-being of yourself and others. Each knot in my jewelry is tied with a wish from a loving-kindness meditation. The specific wishes used in each piece are written on a card and included with your jewelry.
